Youth going after god

In the spring of 2026, the youth group will rotate among 3 homes in the congregation. This is similar to House Church, where the vibe is comfortable and welcoming. Interested in joining? Email Ashlee at aadkins@ourstorychurch.org and she will get back to you with locations and directions.

Youth meet is from 5 to 7 PM, and we will spend the first hour enjoying a meal together, free time, and visiting. The second hour will have worship, scriptural discussion, and activities that help us deep dive.

For spring 2026, we are meeting every other week. On 1/25, 2/22, 3/8, 3/22, 4/12, 4/26, and 5/17. The meeting on 5/17 will mark the end of our spring youth session, with a break through the summer and a return in September 2026. We will also have a Super Bowl party on 2/8 from 6 to 9 PM. See you there!

If you want, bring a game to share! A Bible is always recommended (though not required), and if you like to journal, bring that, too, and take notes!

We believe youth are at an important part of life, writing a story of who they are and who they want to be. The story we adopt for ourselves, how we understand the world, and what we believe about others shape us as we become adults and chart our life path. And that means you, teenager, you are writing a life story, and we know that God's story tells us we are loved, answers the big questions we have, joins us in our joys and struggles, and teaches us how to love others well. BUT, you aren't only a story participant... YOU are a STORY HOLDER as a person going after God, knowing where your truth is rooted.
